DoDI 6055.04 defines military personnel as “all U.S. military personnel on active duty, Reserve, or National Guard personnel on active duty or performing inactive duty training, Military Service Academy cadets and midshipmen, officer candidates in Officer Candidate School and Aviator Officer Candidate School, Reserve Officer Training Corps cadets and midshipmen when engaged in directed training activities, and foreign national military personnel assigned to the DoD Components.”
For a "Military: discount we include:
-Active Duty/Reservists
-Veterans who have received and Honorable discharge when they left the Service.
-Dependants of Active Duty or Retired military
-Civil Service
Student must be able to show proof of eligibility prior to the start of class (DoD issued ID, VA issued ID, or DD-214). Those who attempt to fraudulently use any discount will be charged double the discount or have it removed from their refund.
To receive a military discount: enter USN in the coupon box during check out.
This includes all Active Duty and Reservists assigned to Tyndall AFB, including:
- Assigned to the 325th but work location at Eglin AFB.
- Foreign military personnel assigned to Tyndall AFB

Tyndall personnel may enroll in a 'Public' course at no cost under the following circumstances:
1. Member desires to attend the All-in-Person class
2. It is more than 30 days till the next scheduled Tyndall Class
3. Class member scheduled to attend is cancelled.

Non-Active Duty may attend on a Space-A basis, but must pay their own way. All DoD employees, Military Retirees, Active Duty and Retired Dependents are eligible for the Military Discount.
While Active Duty Navy personnel have priority, All those stationed at a Naval facility may attend a course provided by NSAPC. This includes EOD students stationed at Eglin AFB.
